Crème Caramel


Crème Caramel

• Eggs – 5
• Milk – 1 cup
• Cream – 2 1/2 cups
• Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoons
• Condensed milk – 1 1/4 can
• Sugar – 1 1/4 cup for caramelization


1) Preheat the oven to 180º celsius.

2) Take sugar in a non stick pan and dissolve it till it you get a golden caramel color.

3) Pour the caramel in a baking dish and spread it evenly all over the bottom of the dish.

4) Leave it to cool.

5) Blend milk, eggs, cream, condensed milk and vanilla extract together.

6) Pour this mixture on the caramel layer.

7) Place the baking dish in a larger pan and slide it into the pre heated oven. Fill the outer pan with 1/2 an inch of water. This process will bake it gently and evenly.

8) Bake for 50 – 60 minutes. Once it cools, refrigerate it.
